Onnis Luque Photography

Luque is a Mexican visual artist with academic training in architecture from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a self-directed path in photographic practice. His work emerges from sustained inquiry into the socio-ecological dynamics that shape built environments under modern capitalism. Luque’s photography articulates spatial, social, and environmental tensions with conceptual rigor and visual acuity, positioning his practice within current international dialogues on art and architecture. His work has been widely exhibited in Mexico, Latin America, and Europe. Most recently, he presented his first solo exhibition in the United States, DOMINIO: An Unfinished Visual Archive of Architectural Extractivism, at Art Omi’s Newmark Gallery in New York.
