Niclas Larsson Advertising

Niclas Larsson began his film career as a child actor in Sweden, and started directing shorts and music videos in his teens. Today, he is an award-winning director and screenwriter based in New York City.

His work includes thoughtful storytelling for brands such as Volvo (“The Parents”), WhatsApp (“One”), and Lufthansa (“All It Takes Is a Yes”). In 2021, he was nominated for the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials.

His debut feature film “Mother, Couch” starring Ewan McGregor, Taylor Russell, Rhys Ifans, and Oscar winners Ellen Burstyn and F. Murray Abraham, premiered at TIFF in 2023. The film won the Dragon Award for Best Nordic Film at the Göteborg Film Festival in 2024.
