Gregori Civera Photography

Gregori Civera (born 1971 in A Coruña) is a Spanish photographer best known for his work in architectural and editorial photography. Based in Barcelona, he has been documenting architecture and the built environment since the early 1990s, often working with large-format cameras that produce highly detailed images with a distinctive tonal richness. His practice explores the relationship between people, structures, and space, frequently combining portraiture with architectural imagery. Civera’s photographs have been widely published in international magazines and newspapers, including Wallpaper, Vogue, The New York Times, and Monocle. Over more than two decades, he has also documented projects by the renowned architectural studio Bofill Taller de Arquitectura. In 2024, his series Casas Baratas was exhibited at MACBA in Barcelona and added to the museum’s collection, underscoring his sustained engagement with contemporary urban environments.
