Nomade Hotels Holbox and Tulum

BJARKE INGELS Sebastian Sas has designed the Nomade hotels in Holbox and Tulum like gardens. Corridors become a path through the forest. Carpet gives way to grains of sand. Circulation becomes a botanical promenade. Nature is enhanced and amplified to become denser and wilder - not to preserve it but to activate and animate it.

The result is architecture that immerses you into nature rather than removing you. That redefines luxury as authenticity. Living. Growing. Evolving.

BE destination Tulum

Since opening its doors in 2009, the One MICHELIN Key recognized BE Destination Tulum has been a destination for those seeking barefoot luxury and soulful connection. Set between the lush jungle and the Caribbean’s unspoiled shores, the hotel invites guests into a world where nature, design, and wellbeing exist in harmony. Crafted with natural materials and timeless simplicity, its 64 suites, 45 of which have private pools, are woven seamlessly into the landscape, creating intimate spaces of privacy and calm. Wellness and gastronomy take center stage through holistic programs, a spa rooted in healing traditions, and restaurants including Ocumare, Mare'zia, and 4FU3GOS that celebrate local flavors with artistry and authenticity. At BE Destination Tulum, every detail is designed to inspire presence, whether through a quiet moment of renewal, a meal that stirs the senses, or experiences that awaken deeper connection.

Nômade Temple Tulum

Located at the southern tip of the Riviera Maya and opened in 2015, Nômade Temple Tulum is a unique hotel destination designed to support and nurture the emotional health of guests, rooted in understanding and responding to their emotional feelings, based on simple genuine human interaction. Nômade Temple Tulum is a haven for transformative experiences. Its architecture, a harmonious blend of natural elements, invites guests to delve deeply into a journey of sensory exploration. Featuring 98 uniquely curated spaces, including 38 rooms designed in the Nômade style, 20 exclusive suites, five tree houses and 35 bungalows, Nômade Temple Tulum integrates seamlessly with the Mayan jungle, the pristine beaches of the Riviera Maya, archaeological sites, cenotes, and the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. Guests are invited to dine at the three restaurants, each of which encourages engaging in a culinary journey through dishes that honor food as a resource from nature. Choose from Macondo with an intimate atmosphere and Moroccan seating, La Popular open-air beachfront restaurant inspired by the local fisherman or KUU’JU Tulum Japanese Omakase culinary experience led by Chef Hirokazu Sato.

Nômade Temple Holbox

Opened in 2022, Nômade Temple Holbox is a hidden gem located on the north coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, an unspoiled natural refuge where time slows down and nature reveals its true wonders. The adults-only beach sanctuary brings to life the wisdom, medicine, and magic of water herself. Its wellness programming is designed to bring guests into daily connection and presence from heart-expanding yoga classes on the ocean-deck to private wataflow sessions with in-house sirens. Nômade Temple’s in-house architects designed a low-impact property with 30 rooms distributed over three levels, featuring treehouse suites, oceanfront suites and moon temple suites. Nômade Temple Holbox abandons the notion that fine dining is the only form of culinary excellence encouraging a more relaxed approach to gatherings at La Popular, where guests eat with their feet in the sand, under the changing hues of the sky or around a communal table carved from a tree trunk. Profound experiences await at this unspoiled natural refuge in Isla Holbox.
